Friday Five

1. Did you know that you can now subscribe to my blog via email?  Just type your address in that little box in the upper left hand corner and you'll never have to remember to check my blog again!  You're welcome.  :)
2. I went on my first bachelorette grocery store run this week and spent a lot more money on just ONE person than I feel like I should have.  Apparently not only do I not know how to cook for one, I also don't know how to shop for one.  
3. On Monday night our car decided it wasn't going to start.  My brother-in-law came to my rescue and got it running again, but then he had to come back the next morning when it decided not to start again.  Long story short, he figured out it needed a new starter and was able to install a new one that day.  He's my hero!
4. A sure sign that spring is here is when our Basset Hound/bird dog mix starts digging up our yard to catch moles.  He's surprisingly good at catching them, but his soft bird dog mouth won't do the killing part.  Which means one of us has to do it.  *shudder*  
5. MY HUSBAND COMES HOME TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Scott is being sent on a business trip to southern Missouri next week, so his boss suggested he fly in early and spend the weekend with me.  :)  He also said that Scott could work at home for a couple days after the meetings were done and spend the following weekend with me, too.  We like his new boss.  :)
